Alistair's latest OOM made me realize that it might be a good idea to expand on a certain content warning that pops up there, and might pop up on future OOMs of his.
The short version: in his Thedas (and also Ysalwen's), Alistair gets coerced into conceiving a child with Morrigan, with the understanding that it'll hopefully save both his life and the Hero of Ferelden's life. While he does agree to it, he makes it plenty clear that it's not a sexual encounter he wants to have. The Dragon Age wiki goes into a little more detail if you need it, but, basically, the whole situation has some dubcon overtones, and Alistair feels pretty gross about it.
The odds of this coming up in an in-bar thread are...pretty much zero. He doesn't like thinking about it, let alone talking about it. Even if Kieran becomes a topic of conversation (which is also highly unlikely!), he's not going to go into any detail about the hows and whys this kid came to be. But, like I said, it may end up referenced in OOMs, and if it does, I'll stick on a content warning for "references to the Dark Ritual" or something similar.
